OMG!! This place is absolutely amazing! We went today (4/13/25), and I 1000% recommend it! I'll admit, I was a little hesitant at first--I'm super picky when it comes to Hainanese chicken, especially after having some of the best back when I lived in Asia. But wow... this place seriously delivered! The server was kind, helpful, and very well-mannered. The food? Incredible. The soup was so flavorful, and the sauces were spot on--each one added the perfect kick. Everything was seasoned just right and tasted authentic and comforting. We ordered one fried, one mix, and one all dark meat--and let me tell you, we devoured everything within minutes after a long day at the flee market, so no photos this time (sorry, not sorry)! If you're a Hainanese chicken lover, this spot is a must-try!

I love my hainan chicken. This spot does it well & is great for to go. The sauces are so good & a must for every bite. My favorite is the sweet soy sauce. I ordered the meal for two which includes 2 rice, 2 chicken portions, cucumber, peanuts, soup and sauces for under $40. So worth it! Interesting they serve everything on paper plates... but that doesn't stop me from coming. Food is delicious!!

*Review based on delivery app experience* Cluck2Go was my pick for a weekday lunch. I ordered (1) Hainan Chicken Rice with dark meat and (1) Fried Hainan Chicken Rice. The chicken for the regular Hainan was flavorful and juicy. Since there was a wait, the Fried Hainan Chicken was a bit soggy. However, it was still delicious. The rice used for the dish was the same for both dishes, but it has a lot of flavor too. They also included pickled radish, which was a good addition to the dish. There was a soup that was included, but it was bland.

Ordered takeout and it was very good. Got the dark meat and side order of broccoli. Very tender chicken. Sauces were very good as well.

Place is very small and it gets busy during dinner time. You order at the front and then you pay after you eat. Ordered the hainam chicken dark meat and the fried ones and both were delicious. It's perfect with the ginger sauce. Also comes with chicken rice and chicken soup.

My wife loves Hainan Chicken, so this is the place I go to please her palate. Upon coming home, our grandson was at our house after daycare, so I wanted to feed him the Hainan Chicken to see if he shares the same likes as my wife. I was surprized that he really enjoyed the food and liked the green ginger too! Although not a picky eater, he certainly had a good appetite after a long day playing and learning at the daycare facility. I would enjoy more occasions like this to see him for dinner and enjoy his company. As for the restaurant, the service is relatively fast and the food was prepared fresh. I would certainly consider visiting this location more, as Hainan Chicken never gets old in our household!

I was very satisfied with my chicken and rice takeout meal, it was definitely one of the best I've had in LA. I got half dark and half white meat, but didn't feel that there was a big difference in juiciness or flavor between the two. The ginger scallion and chili sauces both went really well with the chicken, but my fav was the ginger one. The soup wasn't the best I've had, but was still enjoyable. As many others have mentioned, this is a very casual spot and street parking was pretty limited. With that said, I'd be happy to be back when in the area. Highly recommend!

I actually got this name wrong so many times. I thought this place was just simply called "Hainan Chicken Rice" but it's really Cluck2Go! They have a menu when you order at the store but they also have some other combos you can order when viewing online and call in. Meat is pretty juicy. We got both dark and white but honestly both are well marinated and moist that my limited palate could not tell the difference. You get both the green and red ginger sauces and can ask for one more, as well as sweet soy sauce. The ginger is the usual but the sweet soy does add a good vibrancy to the meal. The rice pairs well too as it seems to be cooked in the same chicken stock. Parking in the street but we found more spots off Meredith.

Cluck for the win!! Juicy chicken on the inside and that light crunch on the outside. This place is consistent with the food, quick service and cleanliness. I might say that I prefer this over Savoy in Alhambra. Besides the food being really good here, there's no wait and you're in and out of here. It's not an extensive menu but it's to the point you get it booked or dried and that all. Love it! There are a few other items in the menu that I do like - wings, green beans and that cabbage salad. And yes extra ginger sauce PLEASE :) This is a regular place for me. Lots of mobile orders and pick up here. Parking on the street and side streets.
